I remember the moment vividly- a conversation with a teacher who saw something in me that I hadn't yet discovered myself. She encouraged me to join the horticulture club, planting a seed that would eventually grow into a lifelong passion. Her enthusiasm for plants and flowers was contagious, and I found myself enthralled by the art and science of horticulture. Unfortunately, her time here was cut short, but her influence thrives within me. Her guidance inspired me to become and educator, sharing my knowledge and love for flowers with others.
Determined to honor her legacy I have immersed myself in the world of floristry, transforming into an innovative wedding florist in the vibrant city of Chicago. Whether through floral workshops, mentorship, or simply connecting with others over a shared love of nature, I aim to spark the same passion in others, just as my teacher once did for me.
As a passionate storyteller, through the language of flowers, I bring my background in horticultural science and deep love for blooms to every creation. I believe that flowers have the power to communicate emotions and celebrate life's moments in ways words sometimes cannot. With a strong commitment to education, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and inspiring others to understand the beauty of nature. I cherish connecting with people, learning their stories, and tailoring each floral design uniquely to reflect their visions. My customized proposals ensure that every arrangement is personal, meaningful and perfectly suited for the occasion.
WHERE IT ALL STARTED
After earning a bachelor's degree in landscape design and construction, from Michigan State University, I began my journey by freelancing, gaining hands-on experience and honing my craft. This led to a position at a high-end floral design shop in Lincoln Park, where I worked for four years, refining skills in luxury floral artistry. I left that career to pursue education, while running my own business for eight years. In that time, I built a brand centered around creativity, personalization and a deep love for floral storytelling.
